Traditionally, the solution for having thin eyebrows has been applying makeup in order to create the illusion of a fuller look. More recent methods like eyebrow lamination aims at treating the eyebrows to change their direction and give an illusion of a fuller look as well.
Another method recently popularized is to do eyebrow microblading, which essentially is a semipermanent tattooing of the eyebrow region for the similar purpose. However, none of these methods actually provide patients with more eyebrow hairs; they only create an illusion.
An eyebrow transplant is the only real and permanent treatment for sparse eyebrows which involves a surgical procedure where the patients own scalp hairs or body hairs are transferred to the eyebrow region.
