Dr. Ali Emre Karadeniz, the founder of AEK Hair Clinic, was born in Edinburgh, Scotland and has dual nationality in United Kingdom and Turkey. He is fluent in English. He received his medical degree and plastic surgery specialist diploma in Turkey.

Due to his enthusiasm and dedication to hair restoration surgery he started practicing hair restoration surgery exclusively from the year 2010. In 2011 he became a member of The International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) and since has been invited numerous times for presentations in scientific meetings and workshops.

In 2015, he became a diplomate of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery (ABHRS). He was also elected to be a member of the ISHRS FUE Advancement Committee and FUT Task Force. Dr. Karadeniz was the 2018 chair of the ABHRS Advanced Board Review Course for new candidate doctors to be examined by the board. ABHRS is the only accreditation board in the world in the field of hair restoration surgery and Dr. Karadeniz is the only Turkish plastic surgeon that is a diplomate of the board. In 2021 he was awarded the Fellow ISHRS title (FISHRS) given to hair surgeons that have made an exceptional contribution to the scientific world by attending many scientific meetings, giving lectures and courses.

Dr. Karadeniz has performed over 3000 hair restoration surgery procedures including FUT Hair Transplant, FUE Hair Transplant, eyebrow transplants, body hair transplants, beard transplants and repair procedures. He is known for his advanced surgical skills as well as ethical values.
